On the previous release, I could navigate around the scene with the left (main) mouse button. The right button still ‘looks around’ the scene, but the left button was an easy way to move about, as it were.
How do I do this in experimental?

Hello - The “pan” button has been moved to middle mouse button in order to make way for some of the map editor features (like box select). You can also use WASD in the overhead “2” view to move the camera.
My mouse has two buttons. Any suggestions? I’m sure a cure is simple, just me being daft.
Hmm, if you don’t have a button on your scroll wheel (many do but yours may not) then you may be out of luck for the time being for this particular panning interaction.
I’ve written a ticket (RR-958) to look into how we can provide an alternative for this.
In the meantime you might look into a utility that lets you map a modifier key to emulate middle mouse button?
I’m using Linux Mint for reference. Some time in the past, my middle mouse button has decided to become entirely unreliable. The operating system I’m using by default has an option in the mouse settings to emulate the third mouse button by activating the first and second mouse buttons at the same time. Maybe you could try finding some similar option for your operating system?
